Things were back to normal at our house. It was nearing the end of the summer.

Sunnie and Fred were making the best of it. Fred was getting ready to go off to college, in Texas.

Sunnie was enrolling soon,at the local Veterinarian School.

They both were excited about the changes. Sunnie said, they both promised each other to keep in touch with e-mails. But they both could date other people, and not get mad at each other.
Sunnie said,”If it was in the cards, and we both felt the same about each other after finishing college. Then maybe we would get married.

The second week of August,Fred left for college. Sunnie was very sad,but she knew this was coming. Fred promised he would keep in touch.

Fall was coming in,the days were cooler, the leaves were changing different colors.

Shades of a combination of yellow, orange and brown, just beautiful.

Sunnie was doing well in school, she always seems to adapt pretty well to educational changes.

Sunnie said that her and Fred communicated with e-mails,for about six months. Then they got less and less. He said that he didn’t have the time,to keep updating.. Fred was to busy with his studies.
When the time came for the breaks at holidays,Fred didn’t call,or even come and see Sunnie.
That is when she knew, their relationship was over. Since than,Sunnie has made many new friends. Also having the time of her life, and enjoying taking care of all the animals at work.
Amy and I are still best of friends. Sometimes,Amy and John, and Stan and I go out on the town together. But mostly we take turns,at each others house, and just play cards for fun.

The troublemaker has turn her life around. Mary has remarried, and is expecting twins in about three months. Amy said that Mary has giving up drinking. And regrets all the trouble that she has cause Stan and I. Maybe some day,I’ll be able to forgive her,but not today.

The little gathering went well,it was just like the old times. John and Stan were talking about work, and the different sports they enjoyed. Both of the children ate,and then went into the living room to watch T.V. Amy and I chatted about work, and taking a beginners course on using the Internet, which we both wanted to learn.

Stan and I stayed for a couple of hours. Amy was getting the kids ready for bed.

We both thanked them for dinner, and invited them over our house next week for dinner.

Stan and I slowly walked home holding hands, and loving every minute of it.
When we arrived home,Stan and I both went upstairs and checked on Sunnie.

When I opened her door, she was sound asleep.

Stan and I tip-toed into our bedroom, lightly shut and locked our door. Stan slowly undressed me,while he was kissing me all over. Then it was my turned,I couldn’t take his clothes off fast enough.
He had me all hot and bothered…he continued to kiss me on my neck, working down to my breasts. My nipples were hard as nails, and I was just wanting him. When he got on top of me,and went inside,I felt like screaming. But I knew Sunnie was nearby and I made the best of it.
After wards we laid in bed whispering, while Stan had his arms around my waist. We both can say, that was the best sex we had in a long time.

Stan went back to work in the middle of the week. When he came home he was tired, but we ate dinner together, and he helped me to clean-up the kitchen, and wash the dishes.

Sunnie called earlier, and said she was spending the night at her girlfriend’s house.

Stan and I watched a little T.V. together. Then we went upstairs, and made love again,we didn’t have to worry about Sunnie hearing us. The sex was even better than the night before, and that was fabulous.

Afterwards,we had a good nights sleep.

Saturday night came, and Sunnie got ready for her date. When Fred arrived to pick her up. Sunnie introduced him to me and her dad.

Stan told Fred,”Mr Fred Stones, you better take good care of my little girl,or you’ll have to answer to me.”

“Yes Sir,” He looked at Sunnie and said,”I’ll take real good care of your little girl,I promise.”

Sunnie didn’t know what to say,she just smiled and blushed.

“Come on Fred,I’m ready to go.”

Fred walked over to the door with Sunnie, and opened the door for her.

Before he closed the door,he turned around and said,”Don’t worry Mr.and Mrs. Haze,I’ll bring your little girl back, safe and sound.”

Just as he shut the door,Stan yelled,”You Better!”

“Stan turned to me,and smiled,”Let’s go upstairs, we’re alone again.”

Three weeks passed by, Stan was back home recovering. Sunnie and I both noticed the change in Stan. It seemed like he was acting like his real-self,before the bad accident at work.

Sunnie was happy again… Her father and I were back talking to each other. We were all laughing and talking about the good times and the funny things we did together.

Stan said to Sunnie, “Your mother told me about the nice guy you met. While you were on vacation with your friends. When am I going to meet?”

“You and Mom can meet him next Saturday night. Fred is going to pick me up at the house, and he’s taking me out to dinner, and then maybe a movie. We haven’t decided yet.

Just as Sunnie finished answering her father’s question, her cell phone rang. She looked at her phone, and her eyes lite-up.

“It’s Fred!” “I’m going up stairs and talk to him. I’ll tell him,you both would like to meet him.”
She answered her phone, and ran upstairs laughing from what was said on the other line. “Your just too much Fred.”

I told Stan that I was taking Friday off. So that she could take Stan to his doctor. The doctor said that he was taking the cast off.

“I bet you can’t wait for that Stan?”

“Your right!” “I probably can go back to work sometime next week,or two.”

“You have to listen to your doctor Stan.”

“I know Alise, but I’m really bored. I’m so use to be working. Plus we’re behind on some of the bills. It’s not your fault,I’m the ass.”

“Let’s not even go their Stan, remember that’s in the pass. I forgave you,so let’s forget it,and get on with our lives.”
“Stan then gave me a kiss, and said,”I love you,and thanks for taking me back.”

“I love you too Stan.”

Friday morning came, and I took Stan to his doctor. He examined him,and gave him a good bill of health, after he removed the cast.

Later that day,Amy came over to see both of us. She invited us over for dinner tonight.

“This way you don’t have to cook”,she told me.
“Besides John would love to see Stan and catch up on things at work.”

“If it’s okay with Alise,I”m in.”

“It would be nice, for all of us to be around our friends again.”said Alise

“Alright it’s settled…… I’ll see you both at 7:00p.m. Don’t forget to leave Sunnie a note.”

“See you later Amy.” We both yelled

Sunnie came home from work early. She went upstairs to lay down. Before she went upstairs, I told her about the invite at Amy’s house.

“Not tonight mom,I’ll pass! Maybe the next time we’re invited. You both have a good time, don’t worry about me,I’ll be okay.”

“You father and I are leaving around 7:00,so if you change your mind, let’s us know.”

Sunnie went flying up the steps, turned, and hollered. “Okay”

Twenty minutes later,a doctor walked in.He asked Stan how he was feeling today.

“Hello Doctor Vess!” “I’m feelling a little better, because my wife Alise is here.

“Hello Mrs. Hazes, nice to meet you. I’m your husband’s doctor,Dr. Vess. He is one lucky man,he was in very bad shape, when he first arrived.

He was bleeding internally, from an tore spleen. The spleen was repaired, and your husband, has to take antibiotics, for cautionary infection. He also has a fracture skull, and of course a broken leg. Mr. Hazes will be okay, with lots of rest.If his results comes back good, then he can go home maybe, in seven to tens days.

The nurse came in the room to give Stan his medications. The doctor than said, he had more patients to see,and left the room.
Stan started to doze off, after the nurse gave him his medications. I gave him a kiss, and told him I was leaving.I will be back some time tomorrow. Stan was sound asleep, before I even left the room.

When I got home,Sunnie wasn’t home yet. So I called Amy,and told her what the doctor said.
“If you need anything, call me anytime,or just come over to the house.”said Amy

About an half hour after I hung the phone-up. Sunnie came walking in the door from work.
“Your father is in the hospital,he was hit by an car.” I also told her about his injuries.

Sunnie was shaky, and had tears rolling down her face,”It’s all my fault,if I didn’t come home and tell you about dad, this wouldn’t of happen.”

I also had tears flowing down my face, I gently looked at Sunnie and said,”Honey it’s not your fault this happened. Your father was in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

I then hugged Sunnie.

Sunnie lowly muttered,”I know Mom,I know!”

My name is Alise, yes, I’m Sunnie’s mother. I work at the local market in town. I’ve worked there for about nine years. I like my job and my co-workers.

Sunnies dad’s name is Stanley, his friends call him Stan. He is about 5’8” with short curly black hair, with brown eyes and slender built. We have been married, for seventeen years. Stan, is a truck driver for a local construction company.

Sunnie is closest to me, her mom, her dad is always either working or out with his friends. Sometimes, I like it that way, because when Stan and I got married.

Everything seemed to go fifty-fifty and we were both happy with this.

Until Stan, had a bad fall at work, about three years ago. He seemed to change, after that, he hasn’t been himself lately. It seemed like his personality changed overnight.
“Everything wasn’t done fifty-fifty any more. It seemed the burden is all on me, said Alise. Stan works when he wants to, he doesn’t care about his part of responsibilities

” Stan even started drinking again.”
“If you even mentioned it to him, he gets very angry. He turned into the type of person who could, only feel important. By making others feel unimportant.”

Sunnie can’t believe the change in her father. Before he was very responsible, happy-go-lucky and fun to be around.
As a family, we use to plan things for the week-ends. Places that we might all like to go together.
We haven’t planned a vacation, for about four years. “The last vacation we had, we went to Ocean City, Maryland for two weeks.”

That was the best vacation ever,” I remember Sunnie saying..

stock-photo-4796283-fall-trees-in-town-3 I can’t believe what I just seen, Sunnie thought, to herself. My mother would just die if she knew.

Sunnie is fourteen years old. She lives in Bizazz, Arkansas, which is not far from the town of “Little Rock”, Arkansas’s Capital.

She lives with her mother and father and she is an only child. Most of her friends, think her parents gave her the perfect first name. Because they all say that she has a sunny personality, she lights a room up, where ever she goes. They say Sunnie is a such a compassionate person, kind, and thoughtful to everyone. The people she is close to, just loves her.

Sunnie is 5’5”, slender with long light curly, brown hair, she always wears it down. She has big green eyes and a great smile, which just makes the guys melt. The guys just adorn her, and of course the girls envy her.

Sunnie is in the ninth grade, at Marshall High, in Bizazz. She is mostly an all A’s student, who loves to volunteer for all the good causes. She especially likes to volunteer at the local S.P.C.A., when she gets time. With all her school work, and her part-time job, babysitting.
She’ll always finds time for all the lonely animals.

Sunnie plans to go to veterinarian school, after she graduates from Marshall High. Her parents won’t let her have a pet right now. They think she has enough on her plate. With the school work, babysitting and volunteering. Her mother Alise told her she will have plenty of animals around her when she is a veterinarian.

Carree and Hunter

Hello Amberly.
I received your letter today. I was glad to hear from you. I hope you and Cliff are doing fine.
Hunter and I have been getting along great. He understands and respects, my feelings. About all the things, that went on in my past. Most men would care-less. Hunter is a very thoughtful person. I have to laugh, the first time I met a couple of Hunter’s friends. They couldn’t believe, how close, we resembled each other. Hunter and I both have brown eyes, and light brown hair. I’m 5’2”,and he is 5’6”. It’s strange, how some people can perceive, differently.

Your question about my parents. I haven’t been back there, since I left home. A while ago,I called my mother, and she is still in denial. Like my sister said, mom and dad, aren’t going to change. Especially, after all these years.
My sister is doing well, for herself. Jamie has been married, for about nine years. Jamie, and her husband Ned, have a boy and girl.
I was glad to hear, you have a man in your life. Your mother shouldn’t compare you to your brother. That isn’t fair, but with that being said. She seemed to favor Darrin, back than. Talking about Darrin, I had a secret crush on him. Don’t worry, that was a long time ago.
I see Cathy in work, but she really hasn’t said very much. She told me, she went back with Boo. Cathy said, just for the babies sake. The last thing she told me was,Boo wasn’t drinking. Like he was before, every night.

Do you and Cliff, have any plans, for Thanksgiving?
Your Friend,
Carree
